2nd June

I had a great birthday!  I went to Bingo – actual Bingo in an actual location – not on Zoom and saw some friends.

I’ve also been into Cardiff to meet up with friends and we went to Nando’s for food. It’s really good to get out and about again. I’ve met up with friends on another occasion too.  Today I’m doing laughing yoga on Insight

I’ve really been enjoying getting out and about more. I went to a farm yesterday and am going to Cardiff for food with a friend tomorrow and to Mainstage on Friday night with friends. I’m very excited about that.  This afternoon I’m doing something with the Drag Project.

Laughing yoga was fun last week – it’s not actual yoga but it leaves you feeling great.  I’m single again, after having broken up with my boyfriend.

There’s no news on the flat I’m hoping to get so that I can live independently.  They haven’t been built yet but the plans look great.

Work at Growing Space has been interesting – I’ve been sewing bunting and doing patchwork. We will sell the bunting in the shop to raise funds. I had a sewing machine for my birthday too. I enjoy sewing, it’s quite mindful

July

I’ve been to Tenby a couple of times to stay in the caravan with my family.  We went over to Caldey Island last time in a boat.  I met up with one of the AWPF members who lives down there and she came back to the caravan. We went to Barafundle Bay when we were down in Tenby too – it’s gorgeous and dog friendly all year around so Princess was happy!

The shop where I work (Growing Space, Blackwood) is having its grand opening this Saturday and I’m volunteering for the day.  The South Wales Argus newspaper is going to cover it and one of the drag queens is opening it.  I have paid work at the shop on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Life is feeling better now restrictions have eased.  I’ve got a new partner and I’m able to meet up with him quite a bit.  I’ve been on day trips with my support staff to St Fagans and other places
