I have been making more songs and doing some artwork with All4Inclusion and going to my writing circle class.
I have been doing housework with my support team and looking after Haley Goggins my cat who hurt her right hip. Luckily, it was only a sprain and she has been looking after me as I was not feeling good either. But I’m a lot better now. Having Hayley the cat helps me with my anxiety.
I have been DJ ing again on Insight app with the Peer Led Team.
I have been speaking to mum at night; she’s helped me a lot when my support staff have gone home
I give my support staff special nicknames – Debbie is Debbie Duck , Chris is Captain Smiley and Haley B is the Friendly Dragon .
I get very frustrated when my rota changes as I don’t like change. I need the set days to help with my cleaning up in my flat. I can do some things myself but sometimes I need support to be there on the set days so I can keep to my routine.
I go to Slimming World once a week. I am trying to get down towards my target weight – my group are fantastic with me. I try and get out for a little walk with my support team too.
I’m still working at the Co-op in old Colwyn and at the British Heart Foundation in Colwyn Bay – all my friends and support staff are very helpful to me. I did a fundraising walk from Colwyn Bay pier to the smallest church in Rhos on Sea for Children in Need and Shaftesbury (my support agency). I did it with Captain Smiley my support worker and I’d like to say thank you to everyone who sponsored me and chatted to me on the way.
