I just saw the video All Wales put up on TikTok of me dancing at AdFest.  I think I was a bit tipsy! I had a great time at AdFest – lovely to talk to loads of different people and the workshops were interesting.

 I think I’d like to host a workshop myself next year. I had been worrying a bit about getting home on the train, but I got on the same train as some of the guys from Our Voice Our Choice so that worked well.

I was 39 the other day – it’s the big 40 next year!  I had loads of presents and I had an Indian takeaway with the family.  I caught up with my friends too at the Mixed Youth Club – this is a club for people with learning disabilities and people without learning disabilities. They do monthly discos and we’re setting up a new walking rugby group too.

I went down to Llandysul with the body boards the other day – I like swimming and I’m quite good at it. I’m a strong swimmer and I won a gold medal at the Special Olympics for swimming 50 metres.  I used to go to Cardiff for the swimming galas too. 

I used to do athletics when I was younger and I even went to Russia once with the Special Olympics and got a gold medal in the 100 metres running, silver in the Relay and bronze in the Shotput!  Going to Russia was a real experience; we had to get two planes and we visited Moscow.

I’m hoping to start some voluntary work soon – in an events and public speaking role. I enjoy public speaking and I’m confident.  We went to Tenby with Carmarthenshire PF last week – it was a great day out and loads of us went.
