It’s been ages since I shared what I’ve been up to. The last update was in 2024. I’d just got married and talked about the wedding day. That was 2 years ago. We’re going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary in June. The time has flown by!

I’m enjoying married life and living independently in our own home. I love feeling so independent and not having to ask permission to do things. I’ve been travelling on the bus on my own, which I didn’t do before. It’s good deciding stuff for myself.

Married life hasn’t stopped me from doing things I enjoyed before getting married. I still go to groups and see my friends most days. I’m still with the Dragon’s performance group. We’re going on tour to Holland again in May. We’re busy working on some new pieces to perform in Holland. I can’t wait! Katie is still my bestie and she’s looking forward to going too.

I’ll just say, it’s going to be a very busy May. Me and my husband have booked an anniversary holiday as well as my Holland trip.

I’ve got a bit of a headache today. A few too many cherry sour shots last night – ha ha!  I was 30 on Sunday and my Wednesday Your Scene group wanted to celebrate. They bought me a lovely Birthday cake. I’m eating now actually, mmmmm, it’s nice!

It was a fun night and was lovely to see Gerraint from All Wales People First. He took a few video clips of us all. I did one for AWPF TikTok so keep an eye out.

I don’t think I’ll be needing the Doctor for this headache today, it’s a bit better than it was earlier. I’m drinking Cola, and my husband just made me a beef sarnie. I did need the Doctor a few months back though. I had to take antibiotics for a chest infection. I called the surgery myself and got an appointment to speak with the Doctor. I know about sorting routine health checks as well. Things like smear tests. I’m confident about getting help and going to appointments on my own but my Mum still likes to come with me for support.
