I was in London last week visiting family – my neighbour took me to the Irish pub again. I don’t drink alcohol because of the medication I’m on. I have a lemonade or even a cup of tea but I do love going to the pub.
I feel very pleased that Plaid Cymru got into the Senedd – I think that they will protect the NHS and they won’t try to privatise it.
I’ve joined Mêts a Dêts – it’s a project run by Corrina and her team. My learning disability nurse referred me because she thought it would be a good idea for me to go to workshops and their socials. It’s all about how to have a good relationship. I think I’d like to have a girlfriend in the future who is caring and supportive. My learning disability nurse is fantastic – I think having her is useful and supportive and caring. I’ve been to Mêts a Dêts once so far – we had a workshop on relationships. They do socials too, but I haven’t been along yet.
I’ve been busy doing stuff with Hedydd my Gig Buddy. We try to meet up once a month – day or evening. He’s a kind and thoughtful friend like my other Buddies I had.
Adult Learning Wales is going to be offering us the Art course again soon – I really enjoyed that last year with Menter Fachwen.
