I’ve moved!  I’m now in my new flat and living on my own. I’ve been here since 8^th September and it feels great to be more independent. I’m on the second floor with a floor to ceiling window with fantastic views. I can’t wait for Bonfire Night to be able to see all the fireworks or for there to be snow on the hills.  I’ve waited 6 years for this – it feels amazing.

There’s 12 flats in total and a communal kitchen and living room upstairs where we can all get together. Staff are on duty until 10pm at night. We use the communal area a lot and we have cooking course on Tuesdays at the moment.  At the weekend we all walk to Wetherspoons in town. 

I have a kitchen/living room, a big bedroom, a bathroom and a walk in wardrobe!  I’ve been missing Princess the dog a bit but she’s coming to stay tonight – I’m pleased that’s been allowed.

There’s a communal garden here

I’ve even been getting the train by myself to Cardiff and Cardiff Bay and getting the bus back home to Mum’s. 

I’m volunteering in the Shaw Trust shop in town and still volunteering at Caerphilly Miners on a weekly basis.

I’m off to see Busted vs McFly on Monday with mum  and I’m still with House of Deviant – we’ve got a new show coming up in Pontypridd soon.
