I have been very busy throughout November and December, I have been away with my boyfriend for the first time.  We went away with his family and I left mine behind! We had a fabulous time and I felt more independent.

We went to Benidorm it was an amazing holiday we both had VIP access to the Zoo.  We had zoo to our yourselves (with two others) from the hotel we stayed at.  We got the chance to go into some of the enclosures – the lemurs were really friendly. It was a Christmas present.   

The hotel was suitable for everyone – accessible with lots of lifts.  We had all inclusive, so food and drinks were included.

James and I got chance to go off on our own and explore a bit of Benidorm – he’s been there before so we didn’t get lost!

We came back on the 6 December. We both had our sunflower lanyards at the airport and on the train, It’s very helpful for travel and going any distance. I keep my in my handbag at all time, I can take it out when I need it.

We both been to the pantos in Milford Haven and Carmarthen.

Next Christmas, I plan to spend it with my boyfriend in his flat – just the two of us.  We’ll maybe buy matching pyjamas too.

We have big plans for 2026.  There’s loads of things we’d like to do – like go to Aberystwyth, go to Weston super Mare and to Shrewsbury.  We travel a lot on public transport together.  We have a future together.

My parents and I are still in rented accommodation after next door’s house burnt down and the fire caught onto our roof. It damaged a lot of our belongings.  This happened in 2023 and we still haven’t been able to move back home.  We’re currently renting near Carmarthenshire People First’s offices – where I work.  I spend a lot of time at my sister’s though. She’s got my cat living with her whilst we’re waiting to move back home.
