Summer has been great; I’ve spent a lot of time in Tenby with my family and Princess the dog. It’s been lovely and I’ve met up a few times with other AWPF members who are my friends and live in west Wales.
The opening day at Growing Space where I work went really well – I’m still enjoying working there. Dogs are welcome in the shop too if you fancy a visit.
I went to my first Pride event this summer – in Cardiff with a couple of friends from AWPF. All the drag queens were there and it was great fun. Talking of drag, I’m hoping that Drag Bingo is going to start soon in Cardiff at Chapter Arts Centre – I’ll certainly be attending that.
I’ll be attending AWPF’s AGM in early October too and catching up with people face to face.
I really feel like summer was fun, after all the lockdowns last year. The easing of Covid restrictions has really made a difference. I’m finishing the summer by doing the Race for Life with my mum in Cardiff’s Bute Park. We’re raising money for Cancer Research.
