I’ve been abroad for the first time since 2019. I went to Cyprus with my mum, my stepdad and my grandfather. It was great fun.
I had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours before I went away because of the flutters and anxiety I was feeling earlier in the summer. I haven’t had the results yet, but I still seem to be worrying about everything all the time. I try to hide it but sometimes I just can’t. I have autism and sometimes I just want to forget that I have it.
I know Covid is still around and I’m still trying to find a balance with social activities. I went to the Pride event in Cardiff on the Bank Holiday weekend but I haven’t really been anywhere since (except for Cyprus).
I am hoping to attend AWPF’s National Council and AGM on 5th October and to stay overnight the night before to meet up with other members.
I go back to work on Monday – Caerphilly People First has been very busy and I’ve not been able to do so much with Insight because I’ve been so busy in my main role.
