After I won my award in June, I decided to organise a walk for Down Syndrome Awareness Month for beginning in October. It was all planned out ready, I chose a walk everyone can do, this was my first event I have planned out when October came.

I was not sure what the forecast was going to be on the day of the event. I had been watching the forecast through the week. When the weather came, we had Storm Amy come throughout Wales and all over the different parts of Wales.  I decided to put the walk off because of the weather. I will reschedule a date for it. I was thinking of doing it next year, I will have plenty to plan out for next year.

What I have done, I am proud of my self for doing it.

it’s Down Syndrome awareness month through this month. I am very proud to be a good campaigner and to be ambassador for Down syndrome.

I am also doing plenty of awareness days and I would like to do some training for awareness training, I will get involved with. I love posting on social media for different awareness events and supporting awareness. I am very pleased with myself and work towards my goal and dreams to achieve, am good worker and I am proud of myself.
