My talk to Piws last month went well – I talked about how people can get involved with the Special Olympics – there were lots of people there – some around the table with me and some joined online. Piws is a not for profit organisation which aims to improve the lives of families with disabled children and young adults.

I’ve been chatting to the Chairperson of the Special Olympics GB about a new club in Bangor too – Special Olympics Gwynedd.  Exciting!

I was in London earlier this month again – I went to the gym and did walking football – it’s hard not to break out into a run when you’re doing that!  My role is as a striker.

My neighbour took me to an Irish pub too – not one of these pubs that does food – but a pub just for drinking for adults only.

I like that I have a London life and a north Wales life!

I’m off to Anheddau today for a music and crafts day.

Later this week I’m lecturing to the Dental Hygienists – I’ve been lecturing to the dental students for about a year now.  I tell them about my experience of going to the dentist.  I was lucky that we had a dentist for people with learning disabilities in Wales and in London, although the Bangor one has closed now and I have to go to the community dentist in town.  I’m ok though – I’m not eating sugar or drinking sugary drinks so I don’t need any fillings!

I’ve lost 8 kilos since I started watching what I eat.
