My first Christmas in my new flat!  I’ve got the decorations up but I’ll go home to mum’s for Christmas itself.

We’ve been busy doing the House of Deviant Dragma shows in Newport and in the Millennium Centre in Cardiff. The final show was a sell-out!

Life has changed a lot since I moved into my own place. I feel more independent.  I go to the drag rehearsals on my own on the train, I go into Cardiff on my own on the train to meet friends and I go shopping by myself.

We do have support here during the day and my own support worker still comes to me, but I do much more by myself now.

It’s a busy week this week with drag rehearsals, my uncle coming from England and I’m staying overnight at the Celtic Manor on Thursday for their Black Tie Ball. I’m going with friends and we’re staying overnight.  Last year’s event was brilliant and there were quite a few celebrities there.  Then in the new year we’re off to Tenerife.

I went down to Pembrokeshire for my friends’ joint 40^th birthday party a few weeks ago. We had a lift with another friend’s mum and we stayed in a hotel. 

I’m a regular at the local Wetherspoons now – my drink of choice is WKD. I loved the picture of myself in the AdFest report!  I’m looking forward to attending AdFest in 2026 too and I’m hoping my boyfriend will come down from north Wales too.
