I’m just back from a cruise – we went to Amsterdam, Bruges etc.  It was great.  Boy George was doing the entertainment and he high-fived me!  Richard Branson was also on the cruise but I didn’t get the chance to chat to him.

I’m excited about my flat – I’ve had a confirmation letter now and I hope to move in January 2025.  They’re still being built at the moment.  There will be staff onsite but we’ll each have our own flat.  I’m already quite good at cooking! I don’t know who else will be moving in with me, but it’ll be an opportunity to make new friends I think and to live more independently.  It’ll be a bit different for me as I won’t have mum to drive me around so much.  I don’t feel comfortable using public transport.

I’m still heavily involved with House of Deviant and we’re doing a Family Drag Show next week (NO bad language!!).  We’re in the Wales Millennium Centre this week too, along with HiJinx Theatre company.

Doing the drag makes me feel confident.   I’m still a Peer Mentor at Innovate, leading sessions for members.  I volunteer at Meadow St Community Garden and I’ve still got my paid job with Growing Space.

I do like to get out an about and I’ve done lots this summer, including the second Merthyr Pride, Weston Super Mare and I went to AdFest in June and met up with all my friends from All Wales.  We headed off to the karaoke bar in the evening – that was great fun.
